    New Fall menus

    While summer gives us its last few days of sunshine, the new fall menus are coming to our four locations. One of our most popular pizzas is back – with prosciutto crudo San Daniele, burrata, orange-infused oil, and fiordilatte – as well as new dishes with delicious seasonal ingredients, like our pizza with roasted pumpkin, sautéed wild mushrooms, parmigiano reggiano and sage-infused oil, and our pizza with char-grilled prosciutto, sautéed fennel, taleggio, and fiordilatte. The first to welcome the fall menu will be our Torino location, starting September 14, followed by via Petroni on Tuesday, September 20, Florence on September 22, and finally Castel Maggiore on September 26.

    Berberè at Salone del Gusto in Torino

    From the Parco del Valentino to the historic center, from San Salvario to the musuems! This year marks the 20th edition of the Salone del Gusto, in Torino from September 22-26, with meetings, events and much more – all centered around food produced in fair conditions and in harmony with nature. Berberè will be there too, with a dinner show planned in our space inside Binaria on Thursday, September 22, at 8:30pm. The actress Tiziana Di Masi will deliver an entertaining original monologue about the value of the cheese that symbolizes Emilia Romagna – Parmigiano Reggiano – and the damage caused by its imposters. Following the performance will be a pizza dinner designed by Matteo Aloe, a tasting of eight pizzas featuring Parmigiano as well as Slow Food presidia and Libera Terra products.
    The tasting will feature:
    2 slices of pizza with tomato, mozzarella di bufala Libera Terra (or Nicola
    Cecere)
    2 slices of pizza with Salina capers, a Slow Food presidium, fiaschetto di Torre Guaceto Libera Terra tomatoes (or Slow Food presidium Calemone tomatoes), oregano, basil, and fiordilatte
    2 slices of pizza with Mora Romagnola sausage, vacca bianca Parmigiano Reggiano aged 24 months (Slow Food presidium), and chile pepper-infused oil from Libera Terra
    2 slices of pizza with gorgonzola, speck from Trentino, walnuts, and Libera Terra melata forest honey

    To start September off right, our shop has plenty of products on sale. All month, you’ll find espresso coffee (Alce Nero), corn flour (Fioretto), white farro flour (Mulino Marino), coconut milk (Biona), pistachio yogurt (Cascina Bianca) and lots more. Discover all the promotions in the flyer ! Our shop is open Monday from 12pm to 3:30pm, and Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 3:30pm and from 6pm to 11pm.

    Pizza of the Month

    Starting well is half the battle! And so to start September on the right foot, why not try our pizza of the month, with tomato, sausage, pecorino, and fennel seeds. You’ll find it for 10 euros (including water and table charge) during lunch at Alce Nero Berberè and at Berberè in Castel Maggiore.

    Berberè comes to Milan

    After our six-month stint at EXPO 2015, Milan has stayed in our hearts, which is why we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be back in October! Berberè will open in the former Circolo Sassetti (Via Sebenico 21), in the heart of the historic Isola neighborhood, bridge between the past and the future, that today is the nerve center in the modern transformation of the city. We immediately fell in love with this place, with its history and its people, and we can’t wait to open our doors. The countdown begins!
